〒151-0066 Tokyo, Shibuya, Nishihara, 3 Chome−23−5 ウエストフラット 1F01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
One diner who tried the mentaiko pasta also remembered the cheesecake for dessert. At The One, there is plenty to look forward to after the meal, too.
Pasta options include mentaiko pasta (1,300 yen), made with a generous amount of spicy cod roe and fresh cream; penne in a cream sauce with chestnut pumpkin and 3 kinds of cheese (1,500 yen); and Napolitan spaghetti (1,250 yen). Choose the richness of mentaiko, the pairing of pumpkin and cheese, or the familiar appeal of Napolitan. There is reason to return and try a different plate another time. Repeat diners have singled out the richness of both the mentaiko pasta and pumpkin penne. One diner who ordered the Napolitan found it nostalgic but still well-defined in flavour, with enough to enjoy right to the last bite. For a pasta dish with a full, satisfying flavour, these are good places to start.
For a lighter meal, there is also a salad bowl with 10 kinds of vegetables, which change with the seasons (1,200 yen). A diner who ordered the salad appreciated the generous serving of vegetables and the seasoning of the carrot râpée. It could suit a day when vegetables are the main focus, or accompany pasta or curry. The curry choices are a vegetable-packed green curry with rice (1,400 yen) and an original curry with cheese and a rich tomato sauce, served with rice or naan (1,500 yen). Their flavours and choice of accompaniment differ, making it easy to choose according to your mood. A diner who tried the tomato-and-cheese curry liked its balanced richness.
Desserts include cheesecake (750 yen), hojicha pudding and nougat glacé (each 500 yen), and iced chocolate terrine (750 yen). For coffee, the Americano (680 yen) and café latte (780 yen) are available hot or iced. Settle in for a café-style coffee and dessert, or finish an evening meal with something sweet.
By day, diners can choose pasta, sandwiches and coffee. In the evening, some linger over food and drinks. The range suits different times of day, from a casual café dish to an evening combining a meal and dessert.
